I can't decide between these two dresses one is very glamorous and old school while the other is pretty but less formal. Thank you

If you want to stand out, I would pick the second one. The first one is good too.

I am not sure about either. I think that if the first one was in a different colour then it would be perfect, because by the sounds of it I don't think that baby pink would really suit you.

You like big bulky dresses dont you?

I dont want to sound mean nor anything, but the first one would make you look like a barbie doll, and the second one like cinderella gone bad :S

I'd get something thats thighter all the way down, not a "pouf" after the waist

But hey prom is pretty far away and styles can still change and you might find the dress of your dreams in a couple of months time, no worries ;)

Im also looking for mine and havent found anything yet :P loll

why ask? only you know the answer go for what you feel like on the day and dont wear something uncomfortable. Its onlky going to look nice if you feel confident and happy with the way you look.

I'd say the simplicity, it is your prom and you don't want to be so restricted that you can't have fun, unless you're used to wearing a drea as big as thr butterick one, they can be quite difficult to 'manage' eg dancing, getting in/out of the car!
