Im going to a formal anniversary party on friday.........?

I really want my make up to make a statement. My dress is a halter that seperates in the middle. It is black with white polka dots. It goes to about my knees. I really like the way Carrie Underwood wears her makeup in the video "Before he Cheats" but im not sure how to make it look that dramatic. It would be great if you could give me any ideas on how to make my akeup look dramatic and spectacular, but not overdone. I have long brown hair, blue eyes, and a medium fair skin tone. Im 14. hi, i got some examples of pics for u of her, and of how she looks in the video, and it looks like she does the smokey eyed look, so this is what u do, since ur wearing a black and white pokadot dress, i would use a nice foundation i like clinique the color she has on her face they have the same colors available especially for ur skin tone, now, use ur undereye concealer and powder this way ur eyeshadow will go on perfect and last long, now for the eyes in the video it will match better for u since ur wearing black and white, and she has a silver and black look, so take first a white eyeshadow and do ur whole eye, then take light silver and do the whole eyelid and add on the side of ur a darker silver, then going on top of the crease with another shade of silver in the outer corner area of ur eye use the black eyeshadow to give the shadow effect, make sure u use dk black eyliner on top and bottom and inside of ur lashes, and use a clumpy type mascara to get her type of lashes, i like maybelline volomunious it will get u the same exact look, take some plum blush, and use a natuarl lip liner with some clear gloss u will look so hot!!

check these sites out but it all depends on you're skin tone also...for exanple if you would like to make you color of eyes come out...if you have brown eyes: a good eyeshadow would be light brown/pinkish.

if you have blue eyes: dark colors bring out ur eyes...foe example dark brow to black or to bring down ur eye(if they are blue)light colors like white /soft natural colos maybe a pink.

if you have green eyes:a smokey eye would look wonderful...

hazel eyes:bright colors...reddish, greenish ect.
