?Hey is this Good?

Prologue

閳?Man this going to be another long night.閳? the guard said to himself 閳ユ藩ame old thing again and again.閳?He knew he had to stay awake but didn閳ユ獩 want coffee because he was off in an hour. While going in and out of sleep he saw something move in the shadows and got up to see what it was. Slowly he got up, and feeling the affects of staying up twenty-five hours. He looked around for a minute or so ,and when satisfied he turned to go back to his chair. But, as he was turning around he was met by a silenced pistol. Before he could react or beg for mercy there were two coughs of the silenced weapon, and the dark object moved back into the shadows. The night was not as long as the guard had expected.

1.

閳ユ窔 am so late閳?he said to himself 閳ユ笩o so late!閳?He had forgot his car keys and had to run back up the stairs to find them. 閳?Where are my keys.閳?he said as he was tearing through stuff. After savagely tearing through his apartment he found his keys on the ground below the key rack. 閳?Figures.閳?he huffed. Running back through his apartment and closing the door behind him and running back down the hallway, past the elevator, to the stairs. He would have used the elevator, if it wasn閳ユ獩 broken, but instead he had to run down Twenty-two flights of stairs. Getting to the last step, he burst out of the door and almost ran over an old lady with her cat, but he did not notice because he was fumbling with his keys. He took a couple of steps out of the building to his car. He still was fumbling his with keys, but managed to get the right key after a split second. As soon as he jump in the car he threw the key into the ignition and sped out onto the street. Seeing a cop pulling out of a gas station made him remember his seat belt and the speed limit. Looking at the clock in his car reminded him that his watch was fast; so he wasn閳ユ獩 as late as he thought. Realizing this, he took a deep breath and relaxed. What LJ Owens thought he was late for was a formal party, but he was not going for the champagne or the girls, he was going there because he had work to do. Special Operator Owens was not going there to be a waiter, cook, or a valet . He was going there to do what he did best. His job.

LJ Owens wasn閳ユ獩 too big or too small. He was a comfortable 6閳?閳?and 225 lbs. Blue eyes, brown hair, and a nice athletic build. Overall he was a pretty good lookin guy. After getting out of school it was his dream to be a navy seal, and that閳ユ獨 just he did. He had high honors through BUDs and SQT. He had stayed with the seals for ten years, then one day someone came to talk with him. 閳ユ窡J Owens I am here to talk with you about another job.閳?said the man in the black suit. 閳ユ罚ow what kind of job would that be?閳?asked LJ. 閳ユ凡ell, lets just say I閳ユ獓 have to kill you if I told you.閳?chuckled the guy. 閳ユ伐, I see.閳?said LJ. 閳ユ凡hat do you think閳?asked the guy. 閳ユ凡hy not.閳?said LJ. The 閳ユ笀uy閳?John Shepard took LJ to 閳ユ涪he Box閳? named that because it looked like a box , the secret headquarters of D.A.O.(Direct Action Operatives). 閳ユ凡hat you閳ユ獧e about to see is top secret, so top secret not even the President directly knows.閳?said Shepard 閳?So, do you swear that you閳ユ獟l not tell anyone?閳?閳ユ返es, I swear.閳?said LJ. 閳ユ伐k, sigh here.閳?said John. 閳ユ罚ow, what exactly goes on here?閳?asked LJ. 閳ユ翻his is a black agency. What goes on here is all top secret and classified. Got it?閳?said John. 閳ユ返ep.閳?said LJ. 閳ユ窌ood. This who we are. We were created to be an direct action group, which basically means we do all the stuff no one else will do or can閳ユ獩 do. We do assassinations, Intel work, and the like.閳?said John. 閳ユ窡ike James Bond?閳?asked LJ. 閳ユ返a, kinda like that.閳?said John. 閳ユ罚ow the agency works like this, there are three types of people that work here ,there are the Operators, the intel agents, and the Boss, that閳ユ獨 me. The operators do the physical work and the Intel agent assist the operators with data and intel support for the missions. Each operator is assigned two Intel agents.閳?said John. 閳ユ凡here do we get are orders from?閳?asked LJ. 閳ユ凡ell, indirectly from the President.閳?said John. 閳ユ藩o, what do you want with me?閳?asked LJ. 閳ユ凡e have seen what you have done for the seals and we want you to be an operator.閳?asked John Shepard 閳ユ凡hat do you think?閳? 閳ユ凡hen do I start?閳?asked LJ. 閳?We will give you two days to pack up, and then you will start training.閳?said John. 閳ユ藩ounds good.閳?said LJ.

Training lasted about two and a half years, but when he was done started doing the missions and was becoming one of the best. His mission today was to get some intel, like spy, on one of the guests at the party he was going to . He was getting close to the building he had to go to. He pulled up to the front door of the ,palace like, building and was met by a man in a red suit coat. 閳?O, it閳ユ獨 the valet.閳?he thought. He pulled up to the man, put his car into neutral, and stepped out of his car. He handed the valet five dollars, the man smiled and said thank you. He walked up to the door and the doorman opened up the door. He then walked up to the receptionist sitting behind the desk. 閳ユ发ay I see your invitation?閳?asked the receptionist . 閳?Ya, its right here.閳?said LJ as he rummaged through his wallet. Finding it he gave it to the receptionist. 閳ユ伐k, sir right this way.閳?said the receptionist as she lead him to the main ballroom. As she left he said, 閳ユ翻hank you.閳?Looking around the room he saw a lot of people talk and some people at the bar, but he did not see his target. While sitting down and looking around for a couple minutes he finally saw his target. Now all he had to do was see who his target was meeting and listen in to hear what was going on. As he observed his target and his target閳ユ獨 friend he noticed that there was no way he was going to be able to listen in on them, because he had five or so guards watching and protecting him. After thinking about it for a while the only way he was going to be able to hear what they were saying was to be what he didn閳ユ獩 want to be. 閳ユ凡ell, it looks like I am going to be a waiter after all.閳?LJ said to himself, 閳ユ窉arn.閳?

LJ Owens had little different mission load-out. He wasn閳ユ獩 going to have a lot of room to carry his stuff. He was on more of a intel mission then a Shoot-em-up type. He had, and always had, his Suppressed 5.7x28mm FN Five-seveN, he had a couple of mini-cameras, he had multiple little bugs, he had a couple of shots of tranquilizer, and he had a some other various stuff. And he had use all that stuff that he had to get even remotely close to his target. 閳ユ伐k now I just have to find a waiter.閳?,thought LJ. He stood up looking for a waiter close to his size. I mean if had to be a waiter he had to make sure he looked like one. After a few minutes of looking he found some nerdy waiter close to his height and weight. He run up to the guy and said,閳?Hey, quick, I need your help.閳?閳ユ伐k let me get my boss.閳?閳?No, we have to go Now!閳?閳ユ伐h ok.閳?said the nerdy waiter. LJ ran through the crowd of people, dodging servers and table and more people with the nerdy waiter following right behind him. Once, Owens got back to the far end of the ball room he opened a door that lead in to a low lit hallway. The sever came in behind him a couple of seconds later. Once in there the nerdy waiter asked, 閳?What can I do for you, sir?閳?LJ replied, 閳?I want your job.閳?Before the waiter had time to even make a facial expression LJ pulled out his syringe full of tranquillizer fluid and jabbed it in to the waiter閳ユ獨 leg. The tranquillizer that put the waiter out in seconds and would keep him out for at least 18,000 seconds.(5 hours) After LJ knocked him out he took off the waiter閳ユ獨 uniform, and put it on. Now the next thing he had to do was get close to his target. He opened up the door and walked out in to the ball room. He scanned the room for his target and found him where he had been before. Now he just needed to get close to him, but he couldn閳ユ獩 just walk up to him even though he had on the waiter clothes. First, he had to go to the kitchen and get some drinks to bring to his target, but on his way to the kitchen he was stopped by someone who looked like he was the boss of the nerdy waiter. 閳?What are you doing? You are supposed to be over in the east section of the ball room.閳?said the boss. 閳?Yes, I know, but those men over there(Pointing to his target and his target閳ユ獨 friends) asked for something to drink. I will help them out then I will go to the east side. Ok?閳?explained LJ. 閳?Fine, but no more the 5 minutes, because we are swamped over on the east side.閳?said the boss. Once LJ got out of that predicament he headed to the kitchen to grab some drinks. Now he had to guess what his target liked. His intel suggested that his target like the traditional James Bond drink. So he made one of those up and a couple other drinks and put it on the tray. But before he brought out the tray he put a bug on each of the base閳ユ獨 of the martini glasses, so he could listen in on his target and complete his mission. He walked up to his target閳ユ獨 table and gave each man his drink. Trying not to make eye contact, because later on he might have to meet this guy again. After he had finished he made his way back to the room where he had taken the nerdy waiter to get his clothes back. After he got put his clothes back on he went to the parking garage. Now back at his apartment he had a tape machine rolling to pick up every word his target said. But before his mission was complete he had to put a couple of bugs and tracking devices in the target閳ユ獨 car. After he did that he got to his own car and pulled out of the parking garage and went on his way home. He knew when he got home he would have to listen to probably pointless chatter from his target all night, but all the way home he couldn閳ユ獩 help but think 閳ユ凡hat was the waiter going to think when he woke up.閳?He just chuckled and went home.
