so my semi formal is coming up really soon and i need help deciding how to do my hair and makeup.my dress is a deep purple color with gold shimmer. it comes abouve my knees and it had spaghetti staps with gold jewels on it.

what make up and hairstyle would go well with the dress? i have long platinum blonde hair blue eyes and slightly tanned (but pretty fair) skin. also i was thinking gold jewelery and gold flats...would that work?

well you should use earthy toned eyeshadow with a little bit of gold shimmer, and use bronzer as blush, just to warm up you face.

as for you hair i would suggest going to a salon and getting it done that way the style will last all night, an updo would be nice but wearing your hair down would be different than a lot of other peoples! %26lt;3

I would say that you could do your hair in curls or in some kind of french twist.

I would go with a natural style (with a touch of shimmer) make-up that accentuates your natural beauty. Adding a thick layer of mascara can make any outfit look more formal.

I know gold matches, but just make sure that you are not too overloaded with excessive gold accents as wall as what you have on the dress. But gold is a great idea for the jewelry and shoes.

i think if you wear gold flats too, you'll kill the out fit.

dark eyeliner and an earthy purplish eye shimmer would be fantastic!

for shoes, i'd say a small heel maybe the colour of your dress or with a little bit of gold if possible.
