Not sure about your hair but the red dress and black shoes will look fine if you have some other black on you. Wear black stockings or a black purse or some other black accessory.

I think it would look great! If it's a floor-length gown, though, pumps could look out-of-place. Just use your best judgement. If it's at the knee, then go for it!

If your dress has simple lines and isn't very complicated (no beads, lace etc) then I would go with the black pumps. Go for a classic modern look. If it is more complicated I would go with a strappy black sandal. I would wear your hair in an updo with no braids, no spikey weird stuff....aim for elegant.

ok wear nude (not suntan!!) nylons... if your hair is long then curl it with medium curls and put it in a side part.... put it back witha medium fancy black hair pic.. or in a curly french twist.... with little red and black butterly clips on it....

and yes the black will look good with the dress...
