Hi im going on a date - first date, only to a nutural bar - so nothing fancy or formal. Im thinking about wearing my black tights, with a denim mini skirt and a halter neck top with knee boots. My hair - kinda curly but also straight. Nutual makeup.. what u think? Any other ideas of what i could wear instead? im size 12-14 and i guess i have a normal wardrobe.

Sounds good. But where do you live? I am in Chicago, and would probably melt if I tried to wear tights now! Natural makeup is always best, IMO.

personally i think everything is great except for the knee boots. i love knee boots, just not for this season. summer reminds me of sandals and strappies, wedges etc. it would look really good if you got 3/4 tights and then got some sandals that look good with them but the tights would have to be white. but if you cant do that, that sounds like it would look really pretty.

Myself, I would never go to a bar for a first date. Too dark, too noisy to talk.

I wouldnt go with the knee high boots.. pretty outta fashion y'think ? Id go with the tights as these make the outfit classy as you are wearing both revealing top and legwear, well not revealing but rather partyish, the tights tone it down. But wear the tights with wedges as these are extremely in fashion, paticularly metallic ones which will go great with the black tights. Then your outfit will scream fashionista and you might bag other first dates from other men in the bar if the man your with doesnt float your boat ;D good luck !!

Sounds a bt tarty and out of date....sorry especially the boots with the skirt. It also depends on how old you are. U can get some really nice skirts that are a bit longer and maybe wear some wedged shoes or something like that. I think what you are describing might give him the wrong impression. Maybe rethink.
