This dress looks like it has a bit of a retro feel. I would work that angle and to something fun with your makeup. I would try and work the 50's cats eye look. Get some good, waterproof liquid liner in Black, and apply it on the top lid, pulling the corners out to a point. Your line should be moderately thick, and the corners should be angular and pointy. If you have smaller eyes, start the line about a third of the way across your eye (from your inner corner) instead of lining the whole eye. If you want to play up the green in your eyes, get a dark plummy shade instead of black, but make sure it is nice and dark.

Apply a heavy coat of black mascara to top and bottom lashes.

Even out your skin with a good foundation. Apply a nice rosey shade of blush to the apple of your cheek working it in circles into your hairline. Make sure to use a nice, bright shade as deeper shades of blush tend to make the skin look dull and muddy.

Use a bronzer to contour your face if you wish. (this involves using the bronzer to lowlight areas of the face you wish to accent, like your cheek bones, blending well to make it look natural). You can find demos on how to do this online.

Finish everything off with a red lip. This is tricky, make sure you pick a red shade that matches your skin tone. Try and pick a formulation with a bit of moisture in it, even if it is slightly sheerer because of it. This helps to prevent staining, and your li[s getting that "cracked" look. Line your lips with a neutral shade of liner, filling in the entire lip. Apply the red lipstick with a brush, blot on a coffee filter (sounds weird, but they are lint free and won't make you lipstick linty) and reapply.

This look is simple, but very classic. You can dress it up by applying a little bit of highlighter shadow under your brow bone and across the tops of your cheeks. Keeping it simple will help to accent your dress.

go smokey.....it will look great! do a white base the entire way up to your eyebrow, then a gray half way, like to the crease in your eye, then take some dark gray and take it around the corner and smoke them up, a light pink check and some nude or light goldish brown lip stick, or if you want to stand out, use some red on those lips!

use a white base with grey in the creases. a light smoky look.keep the lips simple with clear or lightly tinted gloss.

Well it depends on your skin color if you should do something dark or light.

Less is more but, maybe you could try and nice red lipstick (matched to your tone of course, don't wanna look like Madonna back in the day) and some mascara. Let me know what you decide. Have fun! It's a cute dress! What shoes are you wearing with it?

I think you should go for a nice bronze colored shadow lightly over the entire I lid. Apply some black liquid liner over the top lashes. Mascara, light application of a blush and lip gloss on the lips in a clear or nude color.

i cant view your dress sorry, but from your description, i think nice smokey eyes would work well, with rose cheeks and pale lip gloss, just be careful to not overdo the eyes and look more tranny than glam :) x

I have the same color hair only with blue eyes so I get the make up questions.

I would recommend colors that make your eyes stand out. But nothing over powering. Less is more.

Try to keep it between natural and dramatic. Dont cake make up on.

Darker brown, charchoal, more natural tones.

Dont go with red eyeliner, not good with the hair.

Hope this helped.

Have fun at the formal.

I would go with some varying shades of gold and brown. Maybe just a hint of some green! A peach cheek and some type of gloss tinted brown. It sounds like you will look great at the dance.

Mascara a little eyeliner and a red lip. It'd be cute.

I sounds like you don't really need much makeup at all. Try to go natural, but maybe some white eye shadow.
