Any jewelry recommendations for this dress?

Hi! I'm going to a formal event this Friday. I'd appreciate jewelry advice for the dress at this link: http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/London...

I have chin-length long-layered hair and I'm 30. . . Thanks in advance!!

Hello! My name is Molly and I have been in the jewelry business since 1988. Earring size has more to do with what you are comfortable than what is "IN". Be yourself. Short or long earrings look great for an all purpose event, but if, and only if, you are comfortable with them, wear bigger earrings for special times. Your hair covers so much of your ears that it might be necessary to wear bigger ones just for them to be seen.

Necklace- only long and jet black in stone color.

Gold or silver metal is totally up to you. Red and black fabric go with both. But if it is a blue based red, gold is better. I am thinking of a Solid black, long necklace, with beads and chain and circles.

Lucite bracelets look nice as long as you don't start feeling like of the go-go's. Keep them thin. and no more than 2.

Your 30, so it is time for more sophistication. No to white pearls for this dress.

Simple "diamond" studs and pendant are pretty if it is a boring office party for a bank! Otherwise, show a little personality in your accessories. Studies show that people remember jewelry 10 times more than their clothing!

A long lariet black necklace with tassels (smallish) is the best necklace. This is not a "trendy look", and will look good no matter what the fashions are.

Earrings are to be 1.5inch minimum, unless your hair is up.

Jewelry is a reflection of your personality. That is why everyone will have different opinions.

#1 rule- be yourself and have fun!

I wish you lived near my studio I could dress you up! But at least you can visit my web site if you want.

wear a long necklace with black beads

I'd go with no necklace - just a bracelet and earrings. Silver or black. And don;t let the earrings be too big or too long. Just a small sparkle at each ear will enhance the dress without overdoing it.

I'd just go with a bracelet and earrings because of your hair length. cute dress =]

I'd probably just go with simple earrings and a bracelet(maybe in black) so it doesn't look too overdone and fake. Keep it elegant. If you really want to go for a necklace, wear one that is longer.

i would go with no necklace to show off that amazing neckline. I would recommend a simple sterling silver bracelet to go against the red and the black! If you have either silver chandelier earring they would look great or even go with a simple (faux) diamond stud. If you want, i think that a black shawl will look great or you could be adventurous and try a cream shawl with cream jewelry..the possibilities are endless...remember you shine as much as your jewelery!!!

I think you should wear small black beaded arings, with a a really short neclace (kind of like a choker) with little shiny beaded stands coming out of it, and a thin, black bracelet. (just for more info, i think u should put ur hair up)

I would go for some gold bangle bracelt's, but that's all you dont want to overdo the look of the dress.
