so i was just wondering if u think this dress for semi formal would look good one me? im 17years old. i have long platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. my skin is pretty light and im 5'7" 115llbs. the dress is a dark purple with gold shimmer and it has spaghetti straps with gold jewels on it. and the dress comes down to about mid thigh. would it look good on me? ..or should i go with another style/colour. i was going to get blue but i usually wear tha colour and i didnt find any that i really liked. thanks so much :)

thats perfect. if you have light skin, eyes, and hair dark purples are the best, the gold will add some pop too :]

The blue would go well with your eyes and accentuate them. The purple will accent your hair and skin, so I would rather go with that one. Do you have pictures of them?

sounds adorable! the only thing i'm concerned about is if it'll make you look too pale. usually purple and gold works really good with darker skinned people...

your tall and skinny you can wear anything you want and it will look good! maybe a more fitted dress would look better though? personally it think that purple and gold look cheap together. something more elegant like blue or red and silver would be good. also if you like gold you could try for a subtle dress thats all gold that would be classy!

I think that it would look good as long as it's a brownish purple and not like a grape purple. Purple seems to be a hard color to wear. Grape-like purple isn't usually very flattering on most people. I might also suggest getting a slightly longer dress because of your height. You don't want you look like you're all legs.
