i am looking for prom dresses and makeups and ..., but there are just so many things out there, so i guessed you can help me, i am olive/tanned skin, i have dark brown hair with green/hazel/brown eyes(i don't reallyh know what colour my eyes are they are closely to tiger eyes with a darker line around it) i am tall so its a bit hard to find a good highhills shoes. what kinda style do u think i should wear? i want tolook gorgeous and hot so that everyone would be surprised, how should i do my hair if i wanna do it by myseld? what kinda makeup, i have tried tanned makeup it look great on me but i wanna go a littme more formal maybe RED HOT LIPS with eyes with black eyeshadow? what colour should i wear, think about my skin colour,

absolutly No pastels

stick with deep reds and magentas

dark greens

pale yellow and pink

Depending on the shape and cut of the dress is how your going to do your hair

and the color of your dress will effect your makeup

for tips buy a prom magazine and show your hairdresser how you want your hair done, or try to do it your self

same with the makeup

try to find a girl with the same facial sturcture and skin color as yours so you will know what looks good

Black goes w/everything and you have more options in shoe colors. red lips would be good, but make sure it has a blue base not orange or it might look funny (i have the same skin tone and it looks too much on me). Is your hair long? put it up in a very high ponytail and had some curls to it. get a cute headband resembling a tiara. don't get black shoes maybe something in a metallic like a strappey sandal. wear a shorter length dress since you are tall you've got the legs to show off. have fun!

I think you should stick with an olive green, gold or copper...those would be beautiful with your eyes and skintone. I agree with the makeup scheme, but take the lips to a more wine color and wear fake lashes!!!

If you do something that would enhance your eyes, make sure that your eyes are the focus of the makeup, maybe smoky eyes with browns, blacks, and purples, and light colored lips.

Put the hair up in a classic french twist. Looks good on anyone.

I have same skin tone as you with dark hair and i use golds for my eyes and they look fabulous! or i cover whole lid with a light bronze, use a white eyeliner and go from end tip of eye to the start of the bone of the lid and move in a tad with a dark brown shadow to give it depth. The white will bring out the color of your pupil and widen the eye, black eyeliner on the very base. Use bare minerals for blush on cheekbones and a bronzer and for the lips i use a nice bright matte pink, it makes the lips very sensual, i get lots of compliments, i get it at Sephora.

For dress i would wear a tourquoise, cherry red, lavender, mint green, these are colors that complement olive skin like ours. Don't forget fingernails, do french manicure it's very elegant. wear the hair strait, it's the style.

Sweep your hair back away from your face leaving some soft wispy bits and wear some dangly earrings. TJFormal is a great site for all the dress stuff but you really have to pick a gown first and the work from that. At least on that site you can find lots of gowns for a lot less so you can spend money on the more important things!
