I need ideas for homecoming...?

I have a gold dress that's a little bit below my knees. It's a spaghetti-strap dress. I was wondering how should I wear my hair? (my hair looks exactly like my avatar's) And what kind of makeup should I wear (colors)...? I don't really want to wear too much gold so what would go with the gold dress.

Oh yeah, what kind/color shoes should I wear?

And in case, I decide to take a date, what should he wear? (I don't want it to be too formal)

You would be okay to wear your hair up or down since the dress is just below your knees. As far as makeup, anything gold tinted or with a golden hue to it (eyeshadow, lipstick, etc.) You should definitely wear shoes that are gold or at least have those particular colors in them. For that dress, I'd pull one side back and leave the rest down. Show off those beautiful shoulders! Gold strappy heels, it won't add that much gold. Or just stick with basic black, maybe a gold accent like a gold buckle on an ankle strap.

Your makeup should complement you, not the dress. Any

concealer, foundation, and powder should match your skin tone. Blush should be similar to your natural undertones, pink or peachy. For your guy, he should be in nice slacks and a button up shirt. I'd skip the tie and jacket. Dress shoes, no sneakers.
