A good piano recital look?

i'm 16, it's supposed to be formal so i don't know what kind of a dress to wear. i want one that makes the best of my body. i'm 5'2" , 101 lbs, i don't like my legs, butt or hips, but my i love my arms, back, neck, etc. i also don't know what would be the best way to fix my hair. it's strawberry blonde, layered about 4" past my shoulders, and naturally straight. should i pull it up or leave it down and what about curling it? i'm also not sure what would be the best way to do my makeup. i have hazel eyes and bee-stung lips. but i don't like my nose or cheek bones. so what do you think would be the best way to play up the best features? (if you know any good websites that'd be a lot of help too!)

get a black coctail dress...u can never go wrong with a simple black dress...and to dress it up a bit, get ur hair professionally done...wear a little glitter(dont overdo it) and the perfect pair of shoes(try black and white) hope this helps :D

i would go for a long strapless dress-but not too fancy. simple is best. As for ur hair- use a 1 and 1/4 barrel curling iron to create loose curls. after curling a curl, pin to head using boby pins, leave pins in for a hour, then take out and run fingers through hair gently%26amp;hairspray. For makeup- it depends on your skin tone. but based on what u sed i would use a brown liquid eyeliner and some gold shimmer eyeshadow. for the lips use a shiny lip gloss. good luck with ur recital!

I would wear black dress pants (Express Editor fit PERFECTLY) I myself am 5'1" and about 105. So you should wear either a 0 or 2 short. If you don't have a pair of these pants, they are a MUST in any young woman's closet!!

And match them up with a dressy shirt and if you have a black blazer - perfect!

Definitely pull back your hair when playing the piano. I've always had longer hair and when i used to play the piano it would fall in my face if i didnt. Pull it back with a side part will draw attention away from your nose.

Funny, your description of yourself sounds just like me with the exception of hair color!!

Good Luck
